Welcome to the delightful world of Cardello Pizza, a hidden gem located at 261 Moon Clinton Rd, Moon Twp, PA 15108. This charming eatery has recently garnered attention, hailed as one of the top spots for Chicago-style pizza in Pennsylvania by the revered Washington Post. With its laid-back vibe and a menu that tantalizes the senses, Cardello Pizza has quickly become a neighborhood favorite.
At Cardello, the culinary offerings are impressive and diverse, spanning across three mouth-watering categories: Fish & Chips, Pizza, and Chicken Wings. You can start your meal with one of their savory appetizers like the Buffalo Fries with Mozzarella Cheese or the ever-popular Jalapeno Poppers. Prices for appetizers range from a modest $5.49 for classic French fries to about $8.49 for more indulgent options.
The star of the show, however, is undoubtedly the pizza. Customers rave about the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, with one enthusiast claiming it's the best they've ever had, thanks in part to its "bomb ranch" accompaniment. Each pizza is crafted with care, featuring a crust that strikes the perfect balance between airy and crunchy, allowing for toppings that are both generous and flavorful without being overwhelmingly cheesy.
If you're not in the mood for pizza, the wings are equally appealing. Diners have complimented the size and temperature of the wings, citing them as hot and ready, though they might lack some unique flair. Paired with a side of ranch, they provide a satisfying touch to the meal.
Cardello Pizza is also making waves thanks to the new ownership, which has brought a refreshing change to the establishment. Customers have noted that the service has improved significantly, with consistent quality being a highlight in recent reviews. As one diner shared, "The steak deluxe hoagie was excellent and filling," showcasing the kitchen's ability to deliver beyond just pizza.
In conclusion, whether you're a pizza purist or a wing aficionado, Cardello Pizza promises a culinary experience that honors both tradition and flavor, all while maintaining a chill, inviting atmosphere. With stellar reviews and happy patrons, it’s easy to see why this restaurant is a must-visit destination for food lovers in the area. Don’t miss out on this culinary haven—your taste buds will thank you!

Food is great and service very good. Ontime performance and didn't have any wait long at all.

Best Buffalo chicken pizza I've ever had. Bomb ranch. Loveee the Buffalo fries! Hoagies and regular pizza are very good too!

Cardello Pizza was recently mentioned in the Washington Post as one of the top six places to get a Chicago style pizza in the state. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2023/09/01/pizza-favorite-styles-chicago/ So, we drove up from Pittsburgh to see what it was all about. It's a small place, tucked away on a side street. It has no seating, and a laid back, sleepy vibe. I had to wonder, how does a national publication like The Post find a place like this? As for the pizza, of course we got the Chicago! And we were not disappointed. In fact, we loved it. Generous, wonderfully aromatic sauce. The crust was light, and even had a nice little crunch on the bottom. It was not overladen with cheese and other fats, but had enough for flavor (some may prefer heavier, and I suppose you could have them lay it on). Overall, excellent and unexpected for such a humble location.

Brand new owners...I stayed away from here for a while bc the last few times it consistently was wrong...I tried again and found out their are new owners...the steak deluxe hoagie was excellent and filling...the bacon and cheese fries were great and my favorite wing dings with yummy ranch... The new owners seem to have a better hold on things and definitely glad I went back!

Pizza was delish. I've prefer it with "light" sauce. This way we didn't all die of heart burn later.

Couple co-workers and I ordered lunch in and got a pepperoni pizza, white pizza (can't remember the name), and dusted wings. The wings were large and hot, but not particularly noteworthy otherwise. The pizza however was super good! Both pizzas were piping hot and the toppings were plentiful. I appreciated that the crust was airy and not too thick and that the cheese wasn't terribly goopy either. Will definitely be back again!
